Hey Guys,

I know it's been a while but I'm finally getting a new website and within the next month I'll be posting BRAND NEW music. I can't tell you how excited I am to finally let you in on what I've been working on and to hear what you think.

The Sowing Circle will be hosting a cd release party on April 30th for their new album, "WTF" ?. We will be holding a contest in celebration of this event. The winner of this contest will be decided April 30th at the Blue Bar during this event. The winner will receive a $100 cash prize, a writing appointment w/ The Sowing Circle, and upon finishing the song written, a demo produced by Billy Falcon. The spirit of the contest is FUN. Contestants will have to learn the song, "WTF?", featured on the Sowing Circle cd, and they will perform the song live with the Sowing Circle band. The finalists will perform "WTF?" at the cd release party on April 30th and a winner will be announced. well.. if song writing is considered work I guess you can say I worked my nonexistent butt off...lol. Speaking of nonexistent butts I saw these weird underwear on tv the other day called "booty pop". They are like a padded bra only for your tush. Do people really wear these ?? Just curious. I mean, it just seems strange. Hmmm..maybe I'll invent a shirt for guys with built in biceps or maybe pants w/ a bulge...haha. Ok sorry, being silly. Just wanted to make you smile this weekend. Hope everyone is great. I think I'm having a good day today ! I don't really like to admit it because maybe I'll jinx it..haha. Anyway, I had a guitar lesson this morning w/ a guitar goddess. I'm learning the "Nashville Numbers System". It's quite interesting and confusing for someone as mathematically handicapped as myself.
Wish me luck. After that I wrote w/ Billy Burnette. He rocks. He was in Fleetwood Mac. I was a bit nervous but he was freaking phenomenal and so nice. I wanna be as cool as that guy when I grow up. ;) Now I'm wiped out and I think I'm gonna rest before my show tonight. I went to a show last night at the Basement called "Crazy Bitch Night" and I'm still in recovery. You can see pics on my facebook if your curious. Those girls really rocked it out. So, I must admit I forgot the password to get on here and write so I haven't in a long time. I hope this not finds you well. It is freaking gorgeous here in Nashville, but I'm feeling kinda wiped out from all of the pollen in the air ! Pretty lame huh ??
I've been spending my days writing and recording like crazy. I've got quite a few exciting things up my sleeve ! I have almost finished the first four tracks on my next release and I'm beyond excited about them. I know the music on my myspace and on this site has been scarce, but it's just really taken me a while to work up something I really like. I think I will start putting some guitar/vox up though just so you can hear something new.
I won't be doing any major touring this summer since I am working on my album but my dad and I will still be doing a few house concerts. You can contact John at Ourgang07@aol.com if your interested.
I'm gonna try and come on here and write much more often. I may also try to get a forum up so I can get your feedback and hear what you have to say. I miss talking to ya'll. ps. k.. I put a work tape up on my bandbox. It's kinda confusing but if you click on the upper right corner on the different albums you will eventually see a free song.

Rose's song, Fingerprints, has been chosen from thousands of songs to appear on the inaugural release Best Indie Rock 2008, on Song Planet Records.
It will be distributed by Best Buy and should be released by late summer.
